ICAR IINRG

The Indian Institute of Natural Resins and Gums formerly known as the Indian Lac Research Institute, is an autonomous institute, established under the umbrella of Indian Council of Agricultural Research by the Ministry of Agriculture, Government of India for advanced research on lac and other natural resins and gums. The Institute is located at Namkum, Ranchi in Jharkhand, India.

The institute has expertise in conducting basic research and technology oriented programs in a wide range of subjects to address the R&D problems of mining, mineral and metals industries and ensure their sustainable development. It is also carving out a niche in processing of advanced materials for greater value addition and working on resource use efficiency of critical raw materials.

CSIR NEIST

North East Institute of Science and Technology was established in 1961 under the chemical science group of CSIR and originally its main aim was to develop indigenous technologies by utilizing the immense natural resources of northeastern India like Fossil Fuels, Minerals, Tea, Microbes, Aromatic and Medicinal plants. Over the years, the laboratory has produced more than 117 technologies in the areas of Agrotechnology, Biological and Oil Field Chemicals.

Rajendra Agricultural University was originally established as India's first-ever Imperial Agriculture Research Institute.
